No. TunnelQuiz runs entirely in a web browser, with nothing to install for you or your candidates. Proctored tests need Chrome, Edge or another Chromium browser on a laptop or desktop; iPhone and iPad aren't supported.

No. TunnelQuiz watches each attempt and flags anything unusual automatically. A person on your team then reviews those flags and makes the final call. The only automatic outcome is auto-terminate, an optional setting from Essential that ends an attempt after repeated violations.

TunnelQuiz uses credit-based pricing. One credit is one candidate, one sitting, and unproctored tests are free on every paid plan. Each plan comes with a monthly credit allowance - 50 on Free, 150 on Essential, 250 on Pro - and you can top up anytime, at $0.38 a credit or less (₹15 or less in India).

There is a free plan rather than a trial: 50 credits every month, one seat and ten papers, with screen-capture proctoring on every attempt and no card required.

Essential at $34 and Pro at $87 a month billed yearly (in India, ₹1,319 and ₹3,519 plus 18% GST), and a Business plan quoted on your volume. Essential adds webcam proctoring and identity checks, Pro adds the AI - question generation, grading, chat interviews and Live Follow - and Business adds webhooks, a custom SLA and a dedicated manager. Plan credits roll over for as long as you are subscribed - they never expire month to month - and credits you buy never expire at all. If your subscription ends, your balance is held for 12 months, so resubscribing inside that window brings every credit back. The Free plan is the exception: its 50 credits arrive on the 1st and expire at month end.

Yes. Credits come in packs of 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1,000, on every paid plan, and they never expire. 50 credits cost $19 (₹750 plus GST in India), and larger packs cost less per credit. AI credits are $1.60 each (₹65 in India) from 10 up, on Pro and Business. Purchased credits are spent after your monthly allowance.

A test will not start until you top up, and TunnelQuiz tells you exactly how many more credits you need. A credit is spent when a candidate starts a paper, so invitations and unstarted tests cost nothing. Top-up prices are on the pricing page.

Yes, on every paid plan: running an assessment with proctoring turned off never uses credits, subject to a fair-use limit. On the Free plan an unproctored attempt still costs one credit.

No video and no screen recording. TunnelQuiz can capture screen views once a minute and, from the Essential plan, take camera photos once a minute, for a person to review.

Yes. Candidates are told what will be watched before they begin, so nothing is captured without their knowledge.

Camera photos and screen captures are deleted automatically 90 days after the test, on every plan. Answers and scores are kept for 3 years, or until you delete them, whichever comes first. You can also ask us to delete candidate data sooner. The details are in our privacy policy.

Yes, from Essential. Shareable report links are view-only with no login required, and you can turn a link off at any time.

Only the team members you give access to. On Pro, custom roles let you limit who sees proctoring snapshots and flags, and who only sees final scores.

Yes, on paid plans. Essential exports results to CSV, and Pro adds PDF reports and bulk exports, to keep or share with your team.
